Type test report Pellematic Smart_e

Type test report Pellematic Smart_e

Report confirmed efficient combustion technology

Already in November 2011 was the ÖkoFEN Pellematic Smart_e micro-CHP system ÖkoFEN successfully type tested at BLT Wieselburg. In addition, the pellet heating with integrated Stirling engine was also subjected to a type test at the AIT Vienna Institute, that would confirm that the system meets all requirements to be connected to the public low-voltage grid.

Both type tests have been passed successfully before the end of 2011 and the official reports are available now.

The existence of these two reports is a great project progress, as the official attestations must be submitted to be able to install a field test system. Among other things, these reports are needed for funding applications, requests at the electrical supply company or the Federal authorities, for the application as a green power plant.

An overview of the main results can be found here below - we are proud of the above-average results and the excellent performance achieved in the type test.

With a thermal output of 16.6 kW, a total of 1.1 kW electrical power and 15.8 kW boiler output can be achieved. The overall efficiency (based on the net calorific value) for the boiler and Stirling Engine is 102%. The detailed report can be found on the official website of the BLT Institute www.josephinum.at .
