The wish of
100% independence becomes reality

The self-sufficient family home is ÖkoFEN‘s answer for of future electricity and heat generation in the home.

A holistic approach, which intelligently combines the latest technologies from leading companies, opens up the unique opportunity to use 100% ecological heat and just self-generated electricity in the family home.

The concept is modular. The innovation is offered as a complete system, but can also be implemented step by step. Existing power generators (such as PV systems) can also be easily integrated. Consumers can become even more independent step by step, depending on their needs and budget.

The solution for

100%

heat and electricity

Thanks to intelligent interlinking of high-quality components for generating heat and electricity, ÖkoFEN has succeeded in reconciling the challenge of different times for energy production and energy use.

With the innovative combination of a power-generating pellet heating system, featuring Stirling engine, photovoltaic system and energy storage, the pioneering energy system from ÖkoFEN manages to generate all a household‘s electricity requirements exclusively from the renewable energy sources of pellets and the sun, both in summer and in winter.

Energy that is not required at the time of generation can be stored and used subsequently.

Intelligent regulation

Bildvergrößerung

The operation of the Stirling engine depends on the weather and the production of the PV system. If a lot of sun is available, the heating system is supplied from the buffer storage and the PV system charges the battery.

In addition, the photovoltaic system stores your unrequired electricity production in the energy storage. On days without sun the Stirling engine runs and supplies the building with heat and electricity.

The operation and visualization of the entire energy system is carried out via the user interface of the Pelletronic Touch. All relevant data of the system components are displayed on the operating unit of the boiler and records all data on request.

On request, recordings can also be made for your personal consumption (annual comparisons, etc.) and evaluated conveniently on the user-friendly my.oekofen.info portal.
